Hey friends,
I hope you’re all having a fantastic Monday!
I’ve taken an unexpected hiatus as my way to escape the world, but I feel like connecting with you all again. I’ve been feeling so lonely lately and I’m hoping that getting back into blogging will help with that loneliness.
I also have a few videos that I’m hoping to have edited and up for later this week!
As you’re all aware, today is Monday (at least it still is in the States) meaning it Goodreads Monday!ย For those of you not familiar with this meme, Goodreads Mondays originated on Laurenโs Page Turnersโ blog. To participate, you just showcase a random book from your Goodreads page.

Synopsis
How far would you go to findย The One?
A simple DNA test is all it takes. Just a quick mouth swab and soon you’ll be matched with your perfect partner–the one you’re genetically made for.
That’s the promise made by Match Your DNA. A decade ago, the company announced that they had found the gene that pairs each of us with our soul mate. Since then, millions of people around the world have been matched. But the discovery has its downsides: test results have led to the breakup of countless relationships and upended the traditional ideas of dating, romance and love.
Now five very different people have received the notification that they’ve been “Matched.” They’re each about to meet their one true love. But “happily ever after” isn’t guaranteed for everyone. Because even soul mates have secrets. And some are more shocking than others…
Initial Thoughts:
Okay, so I recently saw a few of my friends talk about this book, putting it on my radar. Shortly after, I saw Kayla from BooksandLala rave about it and that sealed this one’s fate about getting on my tbr.
I’ve recently cemented my interest in sci-fi thrillers as they add an extra layer to the book’s world.
I adore the premise of this book and really hope it lives up to the hype. The idea of genetics predicting your soul mate is something I can’t wait to see tackled.
