Waiting on Wednesday | Evermore by Sara Holland

Hey friends,

With 2019 right around the corner, it’s time to get back into these Waiting on Wednesday Posts!

For those of you not familiar, Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine. This meme spotlights highly anticipated upcoming releases. 2018 has a ton of amazing books coming out so it will be super easy to highlight a release for the rest of the year.

This week’s pick:

This week I’m highlighting Evermore by Sara Holland

Synopsis:

The highly anticipated sequel to New York Times bestseller, Everless!

Jules Ember was raised hearing legends of the ancient magic of the wicked Alchemist and the good Sorceress. But she has just learned the truth: not only are the stories true, but she herself is the Alchemist, and Caro—a woman who single-handedly murdered the Queen and Jules’s first love, Roan, in cold blood—is the Sorceress.

The whole kingdom believes that Jules is responsible for the murders, and a hefty bounty has been placed on her head. And Caro is intent on destroying Jules, who stole her heart twelve lifetimes ago. Jules must delve into the stories that she now recognizes are accounts of her own past. For it is only by piecing together the mysteries of her lives that Jules will be able to save the person who has captured her own heart in this one.

Predictions:

I really enjoyed Everless when I read it last year and I am excited to see how the story continues! I know a lot of people said this was a cliched book filled with overdone fantasy tropes, however since I was still getting back into fantasy when I read it, I found it super fun.

I am so excited to see how this story continues, especially after a few of those reveals in book 1 👀.

  1. I have heard so much about this book but I haven’t gotten it and read it yet because, I am trying to stay away from all of the mainstream books and look at lesser known books to broaden my reading but this has been a book that I planned on reading in the future for sure. Lovely post by the way. And have a great day 🙂
