I have a super exciting announcement (at least I think it’s pretty exciting). Audris from YA Bookmark and I are going to be starting a book club!
We have announced this on other social media, but I also wanted to let you all know about it! We’re super excited as this is something we’ve thought about doing for a while.
Since we mostly read YA books, the book club is also going to feature mostly YA books, though we may branch out in the future.
Our book club is super laid back, just read the book along with us, post on social media with our hashtag (#hardbacksandsnacksjanuary) and consider tuning into our live show on February 1st to hear our spoilery thoughts.
Also sorry for how many times I say “excited” in this post.
Book pick:
Our book pick for this month is Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings. We’re pretty excited for this book as we both love the idea of space pirates and we’re intrigued to see how the first big Booktuber book is.
We’ve seen some mixed reviews on Goodreads, but we’re still excited to check it out.
Zenith will be released tomorrow, January 16th, so if you’re planning on picking it up, we’d love to have you read the book along with us!
We’ll be discussing this book on February 1st (more details about time will be provided closer to the date), so be sure to tune in! I’ll also have my spoiler-free thoughts uploaded on here.
