Hey friends,
Since I didn’t do my Top Ten Tuesday this week, I’m going to do a Top 5 Wednesday instead! For those of you not familiar, Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Sam and Lainey. They have the full list of topics on Goodreads if you want to participate in future weeks!
This week, we’re going to be talking about this top 5 characters you think belong on the naughty list. This can be due to any reason: they’re villains, they’re did something bad, or you simply don’t like them.
Just an FYI this post will include spoilers as explaining why they should be on my naughty will involve discussing things they did in the plot. So yeah, SPOILER WARNING.
My list:
5. Joseph – Three Dark Crowns and One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake
He cheated on his girlfriend with another girl more than once and after getting caught continues to lust over her over the course of the rest of the first novel and second novel. Even with the excuse of a spell gone wrong, he doesn’t fully admit fault and he ends up getting his girlfriend back.
4. Leda – The Thousandth Floor by Katharine Mcgee
She drugged a guy, made out with him, got him to spill a friend’s secret, stalked the guy she liked because she thinks he likes someone else and kills a girl. Just to get a guy to like her.
3. Levana – The Lunar Chronicles
She was involved with the death of her husband’s first wife, wears her face reminding her husband of his lost love, got so jealous of losing the throne that she tried to kill a three-year-old, and tried to turn Lunar into a dictatorship over Earth. Oh and she’s the Evil Queen, so evil.
2. Nibs – The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell
A double agent that tricks his most loyal student to get the book he needs to complete his evil plan and kills his mentor.
[NUMBER ONE INCLUDES HUGE SPOILERS THAT WILL RUIN THE BOOK FOR YOU]
1. Nathaniel – Stalking Jack the Ripper
He’s Jack the Ripper. JACK THE RIPPER.
Definitely agree on Joseph! It annoyed me so much that it was just brushed off as “the spell went wrong”. That part of the book was just really not okay!
