OwlCrate Unboxing | November 2017

Hi everyone!

OwlCrate has seriously stepped up their game. I’ve always been a fan, but these last few months have really blown me away! If you want your own OwlCrate box, you can subscribe by clicking here. Single boxes and past boxes also available on the website (more details at the bottom of the post!).

If you’d rather watch the unboxing, you can check out my YouTube video here:

November’s theme was CASTLES, COURTS, AND KINGDOMS

🏰⚔️SPOILERS FOR THE NOVEMBER 2017 BOX!⚔️🏰

The contents of this month’s box were:
DSCN2759

DSCN2751🏰 The first item was Elven Bread soap made for us by Fizzy Fairy Apothecary (probably the best shop name ever). This soap is perfect for getting you ready for any adventure!

DSCN2753⚔️ Winter Is Coming…and so are chapped lips. Fortunately, OwlCrate and GeekFire labs have us covered with this super yummy blackberry mint lip balm! Creamy, moisturizing, and repping our favorite Direwolf sigil!

DSCN2752🏰 Winter coats aren’t always the most stylish, but Juniper and Ivy Designs has created gorgeous wooden broaches for us inspired by the Grishaverse. Three stunning designs were sent out. Which order of Grisha are you?

DSCN2750⚔️ Our Harry Potter item this month is perfect when the chill of the Dementors is around. OwlCrate designed this stunning Expecto Patronum beanie. This is probably my favorite item in the box (next to the book). I love the unique pattern of this hat and can’t wait to show it off!

DSCN2755🏰 My second favorite item in the box is perfect for writers, readers, and bloggers alike! We received this stunning notepad created by Stella’s Bookish Art! This notepad is perfect for holiday shopping lists and planning out the New Year! The A Court of Mist and Fury quote “Don’t Let the Hard Days Win” is also perfect as it’s something we all should remember, especially this time of year.

DSCN2758⚔️ Last but certainly not least was the book for this month and I can’t wait to pick it up! It’ll probably be my next read! The Glass Spare by Lauren DeStefano is “a beautiful fantasy story all about the bonds of family, and where your loyalty lies.” This sounds like the perfect holiday read! This book included an OwlCrate exclusive cover; check out my BookTube video for a side by side cover comparison!  OwlCrate also included a signed bookplate, letter from the author, and exclusive gemstone tattoos. We also received our monthly newsletter and a sneak peak of December’s theme.

☃️❄️Book Prediction!❄️☃️

One thing I love to do is to try to guess the book for the following month.

December’s theme is Seize the Day!

Hint: “Our December book pick is a quirky contemporary novel all about the magic of theatre and finding friendship in unexpected places. It’s an absolutely hilarious and heartwarming story that we know you’ll love curling up with this holiday season!”

I think the December book is going to be Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills.

What do you think the book is going to be? Let me know in the comments!
