Hey everyone! I have another unboxing for you guys.
This month I wanted to try another service, other than OwlCrate or FairyLoot. Don’t get me wrong, I love those two, but there are so many great services out there I wanted to feature another one you guys may not have heard of.
Also, I was obsessed with this month’s theme!
The theme for this month was “Mansions and Manors”
๐ปSpoilers for June SpearCraft Book Box๐ป
The contents of the box were:
๐ปย The first thing I saw was the spoiler card. The design on the same card was the same design they used to advertise the box on Instagram, and boy is it cute! The design was created by Catherine over atย Hey Atlas Creative (@treehouseofbooks on Instagram).
One thing that really makes SpearCraft Book Box unique is that they make most of the goodies in their boxes. The goodies they made for this box were:
๐ปย A Haunted Mansion book inspired sticker and magnet.
๐ปย A stunning Foolish Mortals glass jar necklace with a candle charm accent. I love this and can’t wait to wear it.
๐ปย They also sent along hand soap. You guys know how much I love bath products and we got two super cute gargoyle hand soaps. They were made with licensed soap molds too, which I thought was super cool.
๐ปย A Haunted Mansion inspired Stretching room bookmark
๐ปย We also got a double-sided door hanger. One side says “Do Not Disturb 999 Happy Haunts are reading” and the other says “Come in Foolish Mortal.”
The lovely creators also included some items from great shops and artists.
๐ปย The first two items are from the Literary Apothecary Shop. The first item was Haunted Mansion inspired 999 Happy Haunts Linen Spray (like Febreez, but cooler). The scent is black amethyst.
๐ปย Also from the Literary Apothecary Shop was Haunted Mansion inspired lip balm. The name of the balm is Foolish Mortals and it smells like “summer boardwalk” (theme park food, which actually smells super goodย ๐)
๐ป We also got original artwork by LVB Art of the Haunted Bride. On the back of the card are various stories about her.
๐ปย A fun surprise was that we got a signed postcard from Joe Chianakas which will allow us to download 2 of his books (so three books total in this box!).
๐ป Last but not least was the book (and related goodies). The book for this month was House of Furies by Madeleine Roux. We also got a letter from the author and signed bookplate, along with a pin with the cover of the book on it.
Book Prediction
One thing I love to do is to try to guess the book for the following month.
July’s theme is Victorian Classics!
I don’t have a solid guess for July. Maybe The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee?
What do you think the book is going to be? Let me know in the comments!
What did you think of theย contents of this month’s box?
